The successful sequencing of the human genome by The Humane Genome Project (HGP) turns ten this month. This was, and is, a huge milestone in the understanding of what it means to be human and what that "blueprint" looks like. I remember how excited my college genetics professor, Dr. Fet, would get when discussing this during our lab time. Some things to consider...
